Plaintiff and defendant were divorced. By the interlocutory decree, entered July 2, 1936, defendant was ordered “until further order of the court” to pay plaintiff $40 per month, payable semimonthly on the 10th and 26th days of each month, commencing June 26, 1936, as and for the support of plaintiff and the two minor children, Alberta and Joseph Wilkins. On March 4, 1938, said sum was increased to $50 per month. In an ex parte application, on September 28, 1948, plaintiff filed an affidavit alleging that defendant paid $50 per month “up to and including August 10, 1943,” but thereafter…
