OPINION AND ORDER KOELTL, District Judge:

Mario Ramirez, a prisoner presently incarcerated at the New York State Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill, New York, brings this action pro se pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 against the defendant identified as “Officer W. Holmes,” presumably a New York State Department of Corrections Officer. Ramirez’s Amended Complaint sets forth five specific claims.
