The plaintiff, Allstate Insurance Company, appeals from the judgment of the trial court in favor of the defendant, John Caltabiano. The court denied the plaintiffs application to vacate, correct or modify an arbitration award in favor of the defendant and granted the defendant’s motion to confirm the arbitration award. On appeal, the plaintiff claims, as a matter of law, that the court improperly denied its application because the arbitrators awarded uninsured motorist damages to the defendant insured in excess of the coverage limit stated in the policy that was issued by the…
