The issue raised by this appeal is whether the trial court properly granted an application to confirm an arbitration award granting overtime pay to staff attorneys for the commission on human rights and opportunities (commission). The plaintiff, the state of Connecticut, appeals from the judgment of the trial court denying its application to vacate the arbitration award and granting the application to confirm the award filed by the defendant, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, AFLCIO, Council 4, Local 2663.1 The plaintiff contends that the…
