This court’s opinion of April 25, 2008, is withdrawn, and the following is substituted therefor.

In 2002, Denice S. Walton was employed by Beverly Enterprises-Alabama, Inc., d/b/a Beverly Meadowood Health & Rehabilitation (“BE-A”), as the director of housekeeping. Walton was injured in an automobile collision in the line and scope of her employment.
