{¶ 1} Appellant, Marvin J. Brown, appeals from the February 7, 2005 judgment entry of the Warren Municipal Court, in which he was sentenced for speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol (“DUI”).

{¶ 2} On June 8, 2004, a complaint was filed against appellant charging him with three counts: one count of speeding, a minor misdemeanor, in violation of R.C. 4511.21(C); one count of DUI, a misdemeanor of the first degree, in violation of R.C. 4511.19(A)(1); and one count of failure to wear a safety belt, a minor misdemeanor, in violation of R.C. 4513.268.
