—Edward Reichelt brought this products liability action against 28 asbestos manufacturers and distributors, alleging that he developed asbestosis and pulmonary disease as a result of exposure to defendants' products.1 Mrs. Reichelt sought damages for loss of consortium. The trial court granted defendants' motion for sum*622mary judgment of dismissal on the ground that the Rei-chelts' claims were barred by the 3-year statute of limitations, RCW 4.16.080(2).
