Julia Clarke of South Carolina died there in infancy, and at the time of her decease was the owner of real estate in Connecticut. Her interest in it was derived from the will of her mother, Julia H. Clarke, who was also *208a citizen of South Carolina. This will was admitted to probate in the proper court of that State, and a suit for its construction afterwards brought there, before a court of equity having jurisdiction of the parties and the subject-matter, which resulted in a decree to the effect that it worked an equitable conversion of all the real estate of the testatrix,…
