GRAY, Circuit Judge.

Suit was brought by the appellant, the complainant below, the Pressed Steel Car Company, against Hansen, the appellee, to compel the assignment of six applications for patents made by him when in appellant’s employ as chief engineer. The complainant was engaged in the manufacture of steel cars.
