OPINION

CORCORAN, Judge.

The question we resolve in this special action is whether a worker, who serves as an instrumentality or conduit through which the business owner conducts virtually every discretionary facet of his enterprise, is an employee or an independent contractor for the purposes of workers’ compensation law. We hold that such a worker is an employee.
