MURRAY, Justice.

Appellee, C. I. T. Corporation, instituted this suit against appellant, Mrs. Lula M. Thompson, seeking to recover the amount of principal, interest and attorney’s fees alleged to be due upon a certain negotiable promissory note payable to the order of the Herweck’s Paint & Wall Paper Company, in the principal sum of $689.87, payable in monthly installments, signed by Mrs. Lula M. Thompson, endorsed and delivered to C. I. T. Corporation by Her-weck’s Paint & Wall Paper Company for a valuable consideration of $600.
