The plaintiff, by appropriate petition, sued defendant for $527.82, the value of 487% bushels of wheat, sold to defendant by one H. E. Saunders, from whom plaintiff held a chattel mortgage covering same. The wheat was grown in Noble county, wherein the chattel mortgage was filed for record. The amotunt of the note secured by the chattel mortgage was $790, subject to some small credits. It is further set forth…
