MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

ALESIA, District Judge.

Currently before the court is defendant’s motion to sever plaintiffs’ claims. For the following reasons, the court grants defendant’s motion.

I. BACKGROUND

The plaintiffs in this case are current or former employees of defendant, the Northern Trust Company (“Northern Trust”), who are or were employed in the Special Assets Division (the “Division”) within the Northern Trust facility at 801 South Canal Street, Chicago, Illinois.
