In an action between plaintiff and defendant then pending in the Superior Court of the State of Washington for the county of Cowlitz, plaintiff, on the twentieth day of November, 1920, recovered judgment against defendant for the sum of $5,500, together with a further sum of $52 for costs and disbursements of the action.

Thereafter, and prior to April 4, 1921, plaintiff instituted this action against defendant in the Circuit Court of Clatsop County, Oregon, based upon the above-described judgment, and in his complaint, plaintiff prayed for judgment against defendant for $5,552 and his costs…
