This action is to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by plaintiff, who was a passenger upon the cars of the defendant. The negligence charged is that defendant suddenly and violently started a train from which plaintiff was about to alight, whereby she was hurled to the ground, sustaining a fracture of the skull, hemorrhage of the brain, and other injuries. Plaintiff at the time of the commencement of her action was sixteen years of age.
