The Capital Live Stock Insurance Company issued to H. F. Adams a policy insuring him against loss of a Poland China hog “by death caused by disease or accident (including fire and lightning) ” in the sum of $1,500. The policy contained the following provision in large caps in a prominent position in the policy: “What to do in case of sickness or injury. In case of sickness or injury of any animal covered by this policy, the insured shall give immediate notice thereof by telegram to Gains W. Hubbard, 175 West Jackson Boulevard,…
