MEMORANDUM OPINION

WILLIAMS, District Judge.

Plaintiff, Emme Szot, brings this diversity action against her former employer, Allstate Insurance Company (“Allstate”). Based upon the events surrounding her discharge, Ms. Szot asserts claims of breach of her employment contract (Count I) and defamation (Count II). Currently pending before the Court is Defendant’s Motion for Summary Judgment [15-1]. The motion has been fully briefed by all parties. No hearing is deemed necessary. See Local Rule 105.6.
