State ex rel. Griffith v. Industrial Commission
Ohio Supreme Court
1Per curiam
Minnie Griffith, appellant, sought a writ of mandamus to compel appellee Industrial Commission of Ohio to grant her application for temporary total disability compensation (“TTD”) from December 6, 1995 until April 14, 1996. The commission denied her application on the ground that her disability had not resulted from the medical conditions allowed for her industrial injury. The Court of Appeals for Franklin County denied the writ, finding that the commission had some evidence on which to base this conclusion and, thus, had not abused its discretion in denying TTD.
