Judgment allowing rescission of a contract of sale of real property and cancellation of a deed having been rendered in favor of plaintiff, the vendor, defendant, the buyer, has appealed.
Plaintiff, Mrs. Wright, was the owner of several lots on which there were dilapidated houses, in Palo Alto. Street and sewer assessments had been levied against the property, and at the time of the sale in question, these amounted to almost $8,000.
