I. SUMMARY

Respondent, an estate planning attorney, solicited and accepted loans from clients without recommending they seek independent legal advice or obtaining their written consent to the transactions. Respondent stipulated that this conduct violated Colo. RPC 1.8(a). The People also allege Respondent misrepresented facts regarding the loan transactions to his clients in violation of Colo.
