BAKER, District Judge.

Plaintiffs, respondents, husband and wife, seek to recover from the defendants, who are physicians and surgeons, damages alleged to have been sustained through the negligence of the defendants in the care and treatment of the plaintiff wife. It is alleged in the complaint, filed in the District Court of Bannock County, on September 6, 1955, that the plaintiffs and the defendant, Dr. Merrell, are residents of that county but the place of residence of the defendant, Dr. Springer, is not disclosed.
