Defendant appeals from a judgment upon verdict in favor of the plaintiff in an action for damages for the death of plaintiff’s husband, resulting from his being struck and run over by a motor-truck. Plaintiff’s contention was that the defendant was negligent in suddenly stopping its street-car in such manner as to block the passageway of the oncoming truck, thus compelling the latter to turn suddenly to the right and to collide with the decedent.
