The sole issue in this appeal1 is whether, under General Statutes § 31-307a (c),2 the defendant *418second injury fund (fund) is required to reimburse employers for all cost-of-living adjustments (COLAs) paid to qualifying employees sustaining injuries within, the time period prescribed by the statute, thereby exposing the fund to an indeterminate liability, or whether the fund’s liability is limited to COLAs accrued during that time period.
