The petition — alleging employment of the petitioner, an attorney, by the defendant widow to render certain services in her behalf in connection with the administration of the estate of her deceased husband, that he procured the appointment of an administrator, that all duties devolving upon him were diligently performed, and that payment therefore had been demanded and refused, and praying for judgment for a named sum — set forth a cause of action against her for a reasonable fee for services rendered her until the discharge of the administrator, but not for services rendered the estate…
