Plaintiff Michael Adamczyk has filed a civil action in this Court seeking relief under the Americans With Disabilities Act (the “ADA”), 42 U.S.C. § 12101 et seq. and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, 29 U.S.C. § 701 et seq. (the “Rehabilitation Act”). Named as defendants are the Chief of the Baltimore County Police Department and Baltimore County itself. Plaintiff, a Baltimore County Police Officer, alleges that defendants illegally demoted him from the position of lieutenant to that of corporal because of his alcoholism and depression and…
