Action for the wrongful death of plaintiff’s decedent, a naval officer, who was killed while traveling on a contract carrier plane operated by defendant for the United States government in the “northern-region operation” in Alaska on September 18,1944, during the late war. At- the conclusion of the trial the court directed a verdict for defendant. Plaintiff appeals from an order denying her motion for a new trial.
