Plaintiff Bockhold, a sixty-five year old Kansas farmer and small-scale oil producer, entered into agreement with defendant oil company, an Arizona corporation (hereinafter referred to as defendant or the company), whereby he assigned to it certain oil and gas leases and drilling equipment held by him in the itangely district of Colorado.
