OPINION

HANSON, Justice.

Respondent Interstate Companies, Inc., d/b/a Interstate Detroit Diesel, is the exclusive wholesale distributor of Detroit Diesel engines and parts in a region that includes Minnesota. Appellant River Valley Truck Center, Inc. sells heavy-duty trucks manufactured by International Truck and Engine Corp. and also was an authorized Detroit Diesel dealer. In 2002, International stopped offering Detroit Diesel engines as an option in its new heavy-duty trucks. In response, Interstate notified River Valley that its Detroit Diesel dealership agreements would not be renewed.…
