ROSS, Circuit Judge.

The time now at the disposal of the court does not admit of an extended opinion in this case, nor, indeed, anything more than a mere outline of the grounds upon which its judgment rests. The suit is one in equity by a citizen of the state of Ohio against the street superintendent of the city ’of Los Angeles, its treasurer, a contractor who did certain- street work 'complained of, and his assignee. The object of the suit is to obtain a decree quieting the complainant’s title to certain lands against certain, street assessments levied to pay for the work complained of, and…
