Robert Ruffin was tried by jury and found guilty of murder in the second degree, 1 robbery, 2 theft by unlawful taking, 3 and criminal conspiracy. 4 The charges arose from Ruffin’s participation in the robbery and shooting death of Willie Small in the latter’s home in Philadelphia. This direct appeal followed the denial of post-trial motions and the imposition of sentence. Appellant contends that the evidence was insufficient to sustain the verdicts.
