This is an application for a writ of supervisory control directed to the district court of the first judicial district, Lewis and Clark County, and to the two judges thereof, the Honorable Gordon E. Bennett and the Honorable Peter G. Meloy. The application is by the Attorney General and is with respect to that court’s denial of the attorney general’s formal request that a grand jury be empaneled to inquire into matters related to the Workmen’s Compensation Division, Department of Labor and Industry, Cause #38354 in the district court.
