MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

INTRODUCTION AND FACTUAL BACKGROUND

This is the fourth opinion in connection with three multi-faceted discovery motions brought by the plaintiffs against various defendants.1 The facts are these: Following the filing of the consolidated amended class action complaint on September 5, 2003, charging a violation of § 1 of the Sherman Act, plaintiffs served sixty-six document requests and ten interrogatories on Noranda, Inc., Falconbridge, Ltd. and Norfalco, LLC (“the Noranda defendants”).
