INTRODUCTION

Judge Rubin has wryly observed that “brevity may be wit’s soul, but it is no part of patent litigation.” Laitram Corp. v. Deepsouth Packing Co., 301 F.Supp. 1037 (E.D.La.1969). The same may be said of intellectual property cases generally.
