Appellant, Dr. Ngozika J. Nwaneri, seeks reversal of the trial court’s denial of a Motion for Judgment as a Matter of Law, or in the alternative, for a new trial. Appellant contends that Dr. Steven P. Woratyla, appellee’s expert, failed to provide a sufficient foundational basis for his knowledge of the national standard of care in performing below-the-knee surgery on claudicant patients, 1 or to provide a basis for his expert opinion that appellant deviated from the national standard of care.
