The plaintiff Shilisa Rhodes brought this medical malpractice action against the United States, pursuant to the Federal Tort Claims Act (“FTCA”), 28 U.S.C. §§ 1346(b) and 2671, et seq., for damages allegedly sustained from negligent medical treatment provided by Unity Health Care, Inc. (“Unity”) and Jamie Hill-Daniel, M.D., from December 2009 to March 2011.
