Plaintiff in, error will be designated as defendant and defendants in error as plaintiffs, in accord with their respective titles in the trial court.

An issue of fact was made in' this case by petition for the recovery of an alleged balance unpaid on a charge for services rendered by plaintiffs as attorneys at law on a written contract, by the terms of which they were to receive the fair and reasonable value of their services as compensation, and an answer thereto, consisting merely of an unverified general denial.
