Plaintiff, a former civilian employee of the Government, seeks retirement pay from the time of his separation from the federal service by reduction-in-force in 1954. The first count of his petition asserts that he was entitled at that time to disability retirement; the second count alleges that he had rendered 25 years of creditable service as a Government employee and was therefore entitled to a longevity annuity at the time of his involuntary separation.
