Appeal from Oherokee District Court. — C. C. Bradley, Judge. Action at law, to recover damages for an alleged violation of contract. There was a directed verdict and judgment for defendant, and the plaintiff appeals.

The petition alleges that, in the year 1891, when plaintiff was about 17 years of age, she was seduced by one Eugene Hiscox, son of the defendant herein, and, as a result' of her association with the saicl Eugene, she became pregnant, and gave birth to a daughter in September, 1892; that, shortly before the birth of the child, plaintiff brought action against the said Eugene Hiscox in the district court of Cherokee County, to recover damages for her seduction and for breach of promise of marriage,…
