This is an appeal by plaintiff from a verdict in his favor in a personal injury action for $2.02 million—the verdict eventually being reduced to a $331,790 judgment by the trial court.
Facts
At approximately 10:30 p.m. on the night of June 8, 1973, plaintiff was driving a White Freightliner tractor pulling two trailers southbound on Interstate 5 near the Orestimba Creek highway bridge.
