This suit was filed by the appellant, William H. Hardin, against the appellee, the Continental Casualty Company, a corporation doing business in this state and engaged in a general accident and life insurance business. Appellant alleged that the appellee had issued to him, and that he was the holder of a certain policy of accident insurance, whereby the appellee insured him against the loss, by reason of the happening of an external, violent, and purely acci dental event, of either of his hands in the principal sum of $1,000, and further bound itself to pay him $15 as a fee for any necessary…
