Florence Wilson, this relator, was arrested by a policeman, and taken before Magistrate William F. Beaton, to answer a charge of being a disorderly street-walker, in violation of the Act of Assembly of June 2, 1871; after a hearing, she was committed by the magistrate, as a disorderly street-walker under the said act, and sentenced *617on February 12, 1916, to nine months imprisonment in “The House of Correction, Employment and Reformation for Adults and Minors, in the City of Philadelphia.”
