Jose Velez was convicted of one count of conspiracy to file false applications with the Immigration and Naturalization Service in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371 and nine counts of filing false statements with the INS in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1001. He was sentenced to a term of seventy-five months. On appeal he challenges his sentence by contest ing the district court’s application of the Sentencing Guidelines.
