Varíe Caprice Wright appeals his conviction for taking a motor vehicle in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2119 (1994), commonly referred to as carjacking. He argues that the evidence was insufficient to support the jury’s verdict finding him guilty; that the district court 1 instructed the jury erroneously; and that section 2119 impermissi-bly federalizes a state crime. We affirm.
