Plaintiff brought this action under section 45 of the Unemployment Insurance Act (Stats. 1935, p. 1226, as amended in 1939; Deering’s Gen. Laws, Act 8780d), alleging in its complaint that defendant Sutton was at all times mentioned an employer within the terms of section 9 of the aforesaid act, that between January 1, 1938, and December 31, 1940, he paid wages in the amounts shown on an attached schedule, Exhibit “A,” that, without good cause shown, he failed to pay contributions required of him as such employer, and that he was indebted to plaintiff in the sum of $755.57, including penalties…
