¶1 In 2007, the Washington State Bar Association (Association) charged Paul H. King with 10 counts of violating the Rules of Professional Conduct (RPC). The hearing officer found that eight counts were proved by a clear preponderance of the evidence due to his representation of a client while suspended from the practice of law and subsequent conduct during disciplinary proceedings. The hearing officer recommended Mr. King’s disbarment, and the disciplinary board (Board) agreed.
