This appeal requires us to determine what constitutes adequate notice of a claim under Gen eral Statutes § 4-61 (a), 1 a provision that waives the state’s sovereign immunity to allow actions against the state for disputes arising from construction contracts. The plaintiff, C. R. Klewin Northeast, LLC, appeals 2 from the trial court’s judgment in favor of the defendant, the state of Connecticut, following the court’s dismissal of the plaintiffs complaint.
