This is an appeal from a judgment for plaintiff in the net sum of $2,775 in an action for.personal services; the case was tried by the court without a jury.

Plaintiff sought to recover the reasonable value of personal services rendered to the defendant for the period beginning January 10, 1958, and ending March 6, 1959. During this time the defendant owned and operated a rock and gravel and ready-mix concrete business in the ICernville area.
