SULLIVAN, Judge:

Appellant was tried at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, before a military judge sitting as a general court-martial in July and August 1982. Contrary to his pleas, he was found guilty of wrongful possession of lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), marijuana, and cocaine, and sale of marijuana, in violation of Articles 92 and 134 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 892 and 934, respectively. Appellant was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for 18 months, forfeiture of $300.00 pay per month for 9 months, and reduction to the lowest…
