SULLIVAN, Judge:
On July 10-11, 1985, appellant was tried by military judge sitting alone at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twenty-nine Palms, California. Contrary to his pleas, he was found guilty of one unauthorized absence from his appointed place of duty and larceny, in violation of Articles 86 and 121, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 886 and 921, respectively. Appellant was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, 3 months’ confinement, and forfeiture of $375.00 pay per month for 3 months. The convening authority approved the sentence as adjudged.…
