EVERETT, Chief Judge:

Consistent with his pleas, Private First Class Hill was convicted of two specifications of wrongful distribution of marijuana, in violation of Article 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 934. The military judge, sitting alone, sentenced Hill to a dishonorable discharge, confinement for 17 months, total forfeitures, and reduction to the grade of E-l. Adhering to a pretrial agreement which only required Hill to plead guilty to the second specification, the convening authority approved the sentence but suspended all confinement in excess of…
